Location: Marlboro, MA

Summary:

As a member of a project team, contribute to the delivery of a high-quality product through the development and execution of product test plans and the technical review of user documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Performs technical testing on components of software projects
• Designs and implements updates to existing test plans
• Executes assigned test suites and reports results
• Works closely with development engineers to identify and resolve all issues identified thru the test process
• Review all user-level documentation for technical accuracy
• Install and maintain all necessary test hardware and software
• Maintains a technical understanding of product suite
• May take guidance from more senior QA Engineers
• May be indirectly involved in customer calls on an as needed basis

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of BSEE or BSCS and 0-2 years relevant QA engineering experience

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Must possess base knowledge of all areas of software testing
• Must also possess the proven ability to understand technically complex issues and work with other team members in a collaborative fashion
• Requires working technical knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems, Java client and/or server side programming, Java, C, C++ language skills
• Test automation tools such as Loadrunner and Etester, as well as test methodologies
