Marlboro, Mass.—April 25, 2005—Egenera Inc., a global leader in utility computing, today announced that the Egenera® BladeFrame® system will be featured by Microsoft Corp. in the Windows Hardware Showcase at this year's WinHEC event, April 25-27, Washington State Convention and Trade Center, Seattle, Wash.
The Windows Hardware Showcase is designed to highlight leading examples of integrated hardware and software solutions available on the current Windows platform, and to unveil prototypes for future operating system releases. The Showcase is also a natural extension of Microsoft's Envision.Partner.Deliver theme, which captures the advantages of building highly integrated hardware and software solutions, such as the BladeFrame, to deliver a superior user experience.
