Regional Account Executive – West

This is an exciting opportunity to join Egenera, an established organization that is growing its Xterity Cloud Services wholesale cloud in North America. Egenera has been successfully offering Enterprise Class Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS), Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS), and Backup as a Service (BaaS) since 2011. Egenera is looking for a talented and successful sales professional to drive new client revenue in our Western Region.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute action plan to grow new revenue and develop our Western Region.
  • Understands the client’s critical business priorities and supporting IT challenges; Focuses on driving value for the client while maximizing revenue and margin.
  • Educate client on the value of Cloud related services
  • Participate in requested trade shows, events and outings.
  • Create and conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses.
  • Establish and qualify pipeline, engaging appropriate resources to develop technical requirements and solutions.
  • In consultation with the Vice President Sales provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Utilize knowledge of the Cloud market and solutions to articulate offering differentiators to the marketplace.
  • Meet or exceed revenue expectations.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years selling experience with the skills required below:
    • Experience closing managed service providers or outsourcing services.
    • Performance in consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
    • Proven success selling solutions into the Datacenter Infrastructure space.
    • Proven success selling Cloud Services and/or Cloud Infrastructure software.
